In this tour, I will take you on a delicious journey through some of the city's most iconic cafes and pastry shops.
We will start our tour at Café Sacher, famous for its Sachertorte, a delicious chocolate cake that was created in the 19th century. We will continue to Café Frauenhuber, one of the oldest coffee houses in Vienna, where Mozart and Beethoven used to spend their time. We will enjoy a cup of coffee and taste some delicious cakes.
Our next stop will be at Café Hawelka, a favorite spot for artists and intellectuals, where we will taste their famous Buchteln. We will also visit Demel, a royal patisserie with a long history, where we will see pastry chefs at work as they prepare elaborate desserts. We will end our tour at Café Central, a historic place frequented by writers and philosophers, where we will enjoy the elegant atmosphere and a final delicious dessert.
At each location, I will tell you about the history and culture of Viennese coffeehouses, which have been an important part of the city's social life for centuries. We will have the opportunity to taste different types of cakes and learn more about Vienna's culinary traditions.
