Belvedere Palace is a magnificent Baroque palace that houses a vast collection of artworks from the Middle Ages to the 20th century.
The palace complex consists of two Baroque buildings, the Upper and Lower Belvedere, which were built in the 18th century as the summer residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy, a famous military leader of the Habsburg Empire.
We will start our tour with a visit to the Upper Belvedere, where you will be able to admire the largest collection of Gustav Klimt's paintings, including the famous work "The Kiss." During this tour, you will also have the opportunity to discover other masterpieces of Austrian and international art from the Middle Ages to modern art.
Next, we will stroll through the palace gardens, which are a true gem of Baroque landscape architecture with fountains, sculptures, and elegant pavilions.
Our tour will conclude with a visit to the Lower Belvedere, where you will see temporary exhibitions and collections of decorative art. You will have the chance to explore the sumptuous apartments of Prince Eugene and learn more about the life and legacy of this famous military leader.
